About the Designer:
Giuseppe
Zanotti is an Italian shoe designer from Italy. He began his fashion career in the early 1980’s working locally as a free-lance designer for some of the world’s most well-known designers such as Valentino, Missoni , Robert Cavalli to name a few.
In 1994, Zanotti took over a small shoemaking company, the Vicini shoe factory, and devoted his time to designing and manufacturing his own shoes. With a small workshop with 15 employees, including a jeweler, a heel and tree expert and an embroiderer, he started work on his first collection. Today, Zanotti has made over 400,000 pairs of luxury women shoes. In 2000, the designer opened his first boutique in a fashion country called Milan. Now over fifty boutiques are open around the world for Mr. Zanotti and his world of women and men shoes.
Mr.Zanotti is personally one of my favorite shoe designers because he caters to the women and men around the world who dare to be be different and WERK a bad shoe. There are other designers I admire but the Giuseppe shoe stands out. Whats your favorite shoe designer? What are your thoughts or opinions about shoes?
Glimpse of the Spring/Summer 2013 Gisueppe Zanotti Collection:
I have never been one to obsess over shoes, but these aren't shoes--they are ART. I would consider wearing a couple of these. You know, if had somehow had a few thousand dollars hanging around.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in to shoes much. I'm more of a sneaker type person. However, I love your style.
ReplyDeleteI loved the red heels, but hated the brown flats. uggghhh. I don't really have a shoe designer preference though. I buy what I like.
ReplyDeleteMy designer of choice is L.A.M.B. Gwen Stefani is an awesome designer and her shoes have an edge. The shoes are not as expensive as designers such as Christian Louboutin but they are priced in the $300-up price range. However, my moderatley priced budget is more in tune with Jessica Simpson. I have height envy and her shoes are almost always designed around a platform heel. SCORE!
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely in love with Gisueppes! The vivid colors and the style in which Zanotti creates his platforms for his peep-toe heels is so unique. I'm definitely saving for a pair.
ReplyDeleteTo my untrained eye they just look like some nice shoes. I just like to see them on a nice pair of legs with some cute toes to go accompany them.
ReplyDeleteAnything that sparkles I want!! The sparkly pink ones i lovee ! Just wish they had a heel.I could see myself tripping and falling.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Gisueppe Zanotti's shoes hands down. I only wish I could afford them. I love the designs, prints, and the height of the heel. Some are classic styles with a twist, and others are designs I have never seen before, and I love them All!!!! #shoegasm
