Color has an affect on everything. The way we respond to color is influenced by a mixture of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors. In my Intro to fashion design class, we discuss different colors and the emotions and symbols that are attached to them. Here are a few see below:

Wearing white keeps you cool and can make bright colors pop when worn together.

Black: Simple, Dark, Class

Wearing black absorbs light and is the most go-to color in fashion. Black can also make you look thinner, and slim. Another side of black can symbolize death, demonic, or death.

Red is simply the color that symbolizes passion and love. Wearing red will always draw attention to you because it catches the human eye. It's bright, vibrant, and sexy.
